DANFORTH – Lawrence Earl Oliver, 76, died May 11, 2005, at his home. He was born, March 17, 1929, in Eaton, the son of Lewis and Vina (Stoddard) Oliver. Lawrence was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a Registered Maine Guide. He was a member of the American Legion, and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by five children, Donald Oliver and Carrie of Danforth, Larry Oliver Jr., of Springfield, Leroy Oliver and Tracey King, John Oliver and Judy Lola and Mona Morse and Alan, all of Danforth; the mother of his children, Geraldine Tomah; eight grandchildren, Alan McEwen, D.J., Wyatt and Madisyn Oliver, Shelby Oliver, Alec King, Lucas King and Sarah Johnson; two brothers, Clive Oliver and Roxeen of Virginia, and Kenneth Oliver of Enfield; two sisters, Joyce Oliver and Bonita LeFay, both of Houlton; and many other relatives. He also leaves a special friend, John Page. He was predeceased by a brother, Otis Oliver. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth.
