PRESQUE ISLE – Lawrence R. Churchill, 64, died Oct. 16, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Presque Isle, the son of Charles E. and Glenna M. (Ricker) Churchill. He retired from Pepsi-Cola in Presque Isle where he had worked for 40 years and enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a special Dad and best friend to his son, Larry and will be sadly missed by all those who loved him. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Karsman and her husband, Kevin, of Fort Fairfield; a son, Larry R. Churchill of Presque Isle; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three brothers, James Churchill and his wife, Jean, Albert Churchill and his wife, Nancy and Robert Churchill and his wife, Linda, all of Presque Isle; a sister, Glenna Mae Gorneault and her husband, Philip, of Stockholm; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Lucky. He was predeceased by his father, Charles E. Churchill; and his mother, Glenna M. Churchill Ireland; and his special friend and companion, Annette S. Craddock. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
