ORONO – Lawrence R. Redmond, formerly of Orono, died June 22, 2005. He was the beloved husband of the late Madeline T. Redmond; the father of Frederick Redmond; brother of Ann Hambrock, David and John Redmond. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 27, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, Md. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Columba School.
