MILLINOCKET – Lee Michaud Sr., 93, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born March 22, 1913, in Limestone, the son of George and Mary (Morrow) Michaud. Lee was a hard working man; after completing the eighth grade he worked on the family farm. He worked at Great Northern Paper, Millinocket, for 37 years before retiring in 1976. Lee enjoyed watching ball games and listening to music. He was very creative, handy and particular. Lee made many things, and he was very proud of the gifts he crafted for his friends, family and especially his beloved wife. Lee is survived by his wife of 69 years, Alice (Lynch) Michaud of Millinocket; three children, June Pelletier of Millinocket, Lee Michaud Jr. and his wife, Angel, of Gorham and Sherry Davis and her husband, Bryant, of Millinocket; a sister, Loretta Walton of Presque Isle; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three sons, Paul Lewis, Richard Lee and Stephen Joseph Michaud. Private interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket.
