LITTLETON – Lena H. Simpson, 92, went to be with her Lord Nov. 3, 2004. She was born Aug. 25, 1912, at Wicklow, N.B., the daughter of Beecher and Rose (Lockhard) Hutchinson. Lena was a member of the Littleton Baptist Church for 77 years. She worked for several years in the hot lunch program at Littleton School and then at the Plaza Pharmacy until the age of 75. She is survived by her son, Earle Simpson and his wife, Alyn, of Rotonda West, Fla.; two daughters, Joyce Bailey and her husband, Aubrey, of Terryville, Conn., Sandra McGary and her husband, Wayne, of Linneus; 15 grandchildren, Dana Vallero, Robert Ronald, Richard, Randy and Ryan Simpson, Linda Simpson, Patricia Erickson, Jane Simpson, Nancy Cinitis, Lori Thibodeau, Brad Bailey, Lynette Rarick, Leisha Murray, Craig Libby; four stepgrandchildren, Adam, Scott, Matthew and Jared McGary; 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Jean McBride, Hazel Tingley and Ruth Crone; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Simpson; her son, Robert Simpson; three brothers, Albert, Ronald and Claude Hutchinson; three sisters, Iva Henderson, Audrey Henderson and Mary Henderson; an infant granddaughter, Robin Simpson. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday, at the Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Steven Straubel officiating.
