ST. DAVID – Leola Pelletier, 68, passed from her earthly life and went to be with the Lord Jan. 24, 2006. She was born, Dec. 11, 1937, in St. David, the daughter of Armand and Cecile (Dionne) Beaulieu. In addition to her mother of Madawaska, she is survived by her husband, Gerard Pelletier of St. David; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Kathleen, of Madawaska, Lester and his wife, Sarah, of St. David; one daughter, Laurie Lavoie and her husband, Mike, of Madawaska; three brothers, Omer Beaulieu and his wife, Priscille and Wilmer Beaulieu and his wife, Aurella, all of Madawaska and Joey Beaulieu and his wife, Simone, of Lawrence, Mass.; two sisters, Norma Cyr and her husband, Lionel and Gemma Salazar, all of Madawaska; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one brother, Michael Beaulieu. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, at the former Grand Isle Elementary School. Interment will be in the Christian Cemetery, St. David, in the spring.
