PORTAGE LAKE – Leslie C. Robichaud, 68, died unexpectedly Feb. 9, 2006, at his residence at Portage Lake. He was born May 25, 1937, in Augusta, the son of Edmund and Hilda (Pelletier) Robichaud. Les was a Navy veteran and a life member of the AmVets. He was employed as a postal supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Boutot) Robichaud of Portage Lake; one son, Curtis Allen Robichaud and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Bristol, Conn.; one daughter, Sandra Robichaud Fields and her husband, Charles Fields III, of Enfield, Conn.; one stepdaughter, Bobbi-Jo Caron and her husband, Zenon, of Masardis; four grandchildren, Alyssa Robichaud and Jared Robichaud, Jessica Fields and Charles Fields IV; his mother-in-law, Rena Boutot of Portage Lake; special cousins, Beatrice Jackson of St. John and Greg Blair of Florida; special friend, Toni Caron of Masardis. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. Sunday until time of service, at the Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Nathan Gardiner, officiating. Spring interment will be in the Portage Lake Municipal Cemetery.
