ST. AGATHA – Lillian Chasse, 94, died Oct. 9, 2003, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born June 19, 1909, in Frenchville, the daughter of Josephel and Flavie (Sirois) Bourgoin. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Agatha. She is survived by her husband, Emile Chasse of St. Agatha; one sister, Lorette Franck of Madawaska; one brother, Louis Bourgoin of Lynn, Mass.; one daughter-in-law, Fabiola “Bea” Parent of New York; three grandchildren, Suzette and Jacques of New York and Pierre of Texas and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Parent, and one son, Patrick. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial in the St. Luce Cemetery, Frenchville.
