OLD TOWN – Lillian M. “La Petite” LeBreton, 85, passed away Nov. 19, 2007. She was born July 7, 1922, in Old Town, the daughter of Albert and Alice (Dionne) LaGasse. Lillian worked a variety of positions in local shoe shops, but mostly she spent her life as a devout wife and mother. She loved bowling, fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Lillian was also liked to follow the Patriots and Red Sox. One of her favorite pastimes was to sit on the swing at her camp on Beech Hill Pond and listen to Red Sox games. Lillian also enjoyed horses and taking walks. Lillian was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the former St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Old Town. She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Rudolph “Pete,” Morris and Leo “Pat” LaGasse. Lillian is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward J. LeBreton Sr.; children, Barbara Duncan and her husband, Dale, Jeffrey LeBreton and his wife, Alicia, and Edward LeBreton II and his companion, Marie Fortin; grandchildren, Daniel and Lauren LeBreton, John Levasseur and Dianna Wolvin and her husband, Scott; three great-grandchildren, Marissa, Serena and Michael; brothers, Albert LaGasse and James LaGasse; sisters, Yvonne Willette, Adeline St. Louis and Marie Storman; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. A luncheon will be held after the service at St. Ann’s Parish Hall.
