CARIBOU – Linda Lee Wilcox, 61, husband of the Rev. Vinal J. Wilcox, died unexpectedly, June 17, 2005, at Limestone. She was born Feb. 3, 1944, at Caribou, the daughter of Colby and Cora (Fraser) Clark. Linda was a graduate of the Caribou High School, Class of 1962. She was employed at the Aroostook County Federal Savings and Loan in Caribou for 39 years and was most recently employed by the Maine School of Science and Mathematics as the business manager. Linda attended the Caribou Assembly of God Church in Caribou for 20 years and for 12 years attended the Celebration Center in Fort Fairfield. She was a member of the Allagash Pentecostal Church, where she was active in ministry with her husband, who is the Pastor of the Church, for the last five years. Throughout the years, she was active in the women’s ministries of the Assemblies of God and was also active in music ministry. Linda was a loving supporter of her husband and was a loving and devoted mother. Surviving in addition to her husband, the Rev. Vinal James Wilcox of Caribou; are one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Stacey Glidden of Beverly, Mass.; one brother, Dale Clark and his wife, Andre, of Eueless, Texas. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at the Celebration Center, Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Mark Babin, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in the Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Linda may do so through the Allagash Pentecostal Church Memorial Fund.
