PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – A service of celebration for the life of Linwood Clinton Brown who died Jan. 5, 2006, in Punta Gorda, Fla., will be held 2 p.m. Aug. 12, at the Vanceboro United Methodist Church. A graveside military honor and internment will be after the service. Please join the family afterwards for a reception at the Vanceboro Historical Society. “Lindy stories” and memories will be welcome at the service.
