In Loving Memory Of LISA MARIE CARLETON May 19, 1969 – May 11, 1996 When you look at the sky, remember the color of my eyes. When you look at the clouds, remember I once dreamt to be part of that wondrous world. When you look at the stars, remember I am now a part of them and love you very much. When you dream of me, just remember I did what I wanted to do. And then when you’re finished mourning and weeping, remember your tears are not necessary. I am still alive when you look at the sky. Written by Lisa in 1984, shortly after the accident involving the Space Shuttle Challenger Lisa was killed in a tragic airplane accident in Florida May 11, 1996, just eight days before her 27th birthday. She was returning from a vacation when the accident happened. Sadly missed and loved by, Dad; sisters, Joline and Robyn
