CARIBOU – Lloyd Charles Parker, 56, husband of Patricia (Fortin) Parker, died Oct. 25, 2003, at his Caribou residence. He was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Caribou, the son of Floyd Charles and Ivy Katherine (Holmes) Parker. Lloyd was educated in the Caribou School system and was employed at Dana Doody Construction for several years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Lloyd was a loving and devoted husband and father to his family. He was a member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents, Floyd and Ivy of Caribou, and his wife, Patricia of Caribou, are one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Sherri Parker of Woodland; one daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Joe Bernard of Fort Fairfield; a granddaughter, Alexis Parker of Woodland. He will also be remembered by two close friends, Myron Bjork of Caribou and Dick Gardiner of Presque Isle. He was predeceased by a brother, Danna Parker. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Father David Raymond, associate pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
