LIMESTONE – Lloyd P. McAleer, 68, died unexpectedly Oct. 24, 2005, at his Tardy Road residence, after a brief illness. He was born in Presque Isle, March 17, 1938, the son of Edward and Irene (Mulherin) McAleer. He worked as a day worker loading ships and trucks until the age of 40 years old, when he moved to his mother’s residence in 1976. He had been a Limestone residence ever since. He is survived by one brother, John McAleer of Lorrain, Ohio; two sisters, Judith Cyr of Caribou, Carolyn Poisson of Veazie. He was predeceased by four siblings, Leola McAleer in 1979, Gertrude Keenan in 1995, Joseph McAleer in 1978 and Margaret Cousins in 2002. Private family committal services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, with Pastor Ellen Cleeves officiating. Arrangements by the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou.
