STRATHAM, N.H. – Lois Ann Lessard-Slager, 48, of 4 Pheasant Run Lane, died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at her home, after a courageous journey, fighting the cancer that gripped her so ferociously. Lois was born July 20, 1958, in Exeter, N.H., the daughter of R. Victor “Vic” and Olive F. (Richard) Lessard. Bound and determined to overcome her illness, Lois’ positive attitude and strength enabled her to find comfort during her final days. She even found the determination to indulge in a lobster pie, several weeks ago, a great treat for a deserving patient. Her ever-present family and friends, the oncology department at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, the wonderful support of the VNA, hospice and the supportive staff at Dr. Krolewski’s office were integral to her care and comfort.
