LINCOLN – Lois M. Wing, 78, wife of Earl Wing, passed away March 2, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Lincoln, the daughter of Maurice and Mattie (Price) Pond. Lois graduated from Medway High School. She loved the Lord, was a member of Community Evangel Temple and served the church as Sunday school superintendent for 14 years. She was a great cook and a loving grandmother. She loved going to her winter home in Florida. In addition to her husband, Earl, she is survived by two children and their spouses, Peggy Ware and Leigh of Lincoln and Terry Wing and Rachael of Lee; four grandchildren, Leanne Berg of Howland, Lisa Lee and Kevin of Lincoln, Peggy Pelkey of Sullivan and Crystal Wing of Lincoln; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon, Laci and Reilly Berg, Mac-kenzie and Hunter Lee, Josie and Zoe Barker and Madeline and Kaycee Worster; siblings, Geraldine Washburn of Lincoln, Lorraine Stubbs and Bill of Millinocket, Dale Pond and Betty of Lincoln, and Sheila Day and Harold of Millinocket; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Community Evangel Temple, River Road, Lincoln, with Pastor Tim Shaw officiating. Spring interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
