DANFORTH – Loraine R. Simon, 67, died Jan. 5, 2006, at her Danforth home. She was born Dec. 26, 1938, in Danforth, the daughter of Leroy and Cora (Anderson) Stoddard. Loraine was a CNA at Danforth Nursing Home for 15 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles J. Simon of Danforth; six children, Charles E. Simon of Lincoln, Leroy Simon of Danforth, Terri and her husband, Dennis Russell, of Bucksport, Timothy Simon and his wife, Sue, of Mattawamkeag, Roger Simon and his wife, Violet, of Danforth, Sheldon Simon and his girlfriend, Tanya Dawes, of Danforth; three brothers, Thomas, Eugene and Herbert Stoddard and his wife, Julia, all of Danforth; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Hayden, Harold, Kenneth, Milton, Lendin and David Stoddard.
