PRESQUE ISLE – Loretta Ann Thompson, 72, died Friday evening, July 13, 2007, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born Aug. 23, 1934, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Claude and Cecille (Morin) Soucy. Loretta was an active volunteer at Collin County Women’s Shelter, Plano, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Richard Thompson of Presque Isle; a daughter, Lisa Thompson and her husband, Shawn Lowary, of Dallas; a sister, Jacqueline Soucy of Bre-wer; and a granddaughter, Breanna Lowary of Dallas. She was predeceased by an infant son, David Michael; and a sister, Claudette Soucy. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Washburn, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, celebrant.
