WEST ENFIELD – Lorraine (Theriault) Knowlton entered into eternal peace March 7, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was born June 20, 1935, in Howland, the daughter of Layzime and Emily (Moreau) Theriault. Lorraine retired after 30 years from Pratt and Whitney in the blades and veins department. She loved to play cards and golf with her family and friends. She enjoyed her trips to Hollywood Slots and to Foxwoods. The family thanks Hospice of Community Health and Counseling for the wonderful care and support. She is survived by three children, Sharon Hintz and her husband, Edward, of Weatherford, Conn., Gayle Knowlton and her partner, Sarah, of Tucson, Ariz., and Robert Knowlton and his wife, Cris, and their daughter, Kasey, of Farmington, Conn.; two sisters, Dolly Vanadestine and Nancy Harris; a brother, Reginald E. Theriault; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James “Buster” Theriault; and four sisters, Joann, Mildred, Pauline and Grace. Private visiting hours for family will be 10 a.m.-noon Monday, March 10, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A private Mass of Christian burial for family will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church, Howland, with the Rev. Leroy Landry presiding. A private graveside service for family will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington, Conn.
