PRESQUE ISLE – Louise M. Gibson, 98, wife of the late Arthur W. Gibson, died Oct. 3, 2007, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born Sept. 10, 1909, in Chapman, the daughter of Leon and Lenora (Thompson) Miller. Louise will be missed and lovingly remembered by all of her family and friends. She was a housewife most of her life and a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Presque Isle. She is survived by one sister, Lois Ferguson of Presque Isle; a special niece, Gloria Grant of Presque Isle; a great-niece, Karla and husband, Gary Beaver, of Fort Worth, Texas; a great-nephew, Terrence and wife, Kimberly Grant, of Pres-que Isle; a great-niece, Meagan Grant of Presque Isle; great-great-nephews, Christopher Beaver, U.S. Marine, Quantico, Va., Andrew Beaver of Fort Worth, Texas, James Bradley of Mapleton, Devin Grant of Presque Isle and Michael Gudreau of Presque Isle; several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Puglisi and Gladys Burtsell; one brother, Ralph Miller; and a great-nephew, Michael Bradley. A graveside service for family and friends will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
