GREENVILLE – Louise T. Owens, 93, wife of the late Emmett Owens, died May 27, 2006, in Greenville. She was born Jan. 3, 1913, in Bar Harbor, daughter of James and Alta (McFarland) Marshall. She moved to Greenville and worked many years at Atlas Plywood Mill and was a waitress at the Sporty Bar. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Greenville. She loved to play Bingo, just as her mother did, and she loved to knit. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Joyce Owens, Frederick and Cathy Owens, all of Greenville, and Jim and Ann Owens of Alabama; several grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Austin of Ellsworth; several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by a special friend, Priscilla Mann and by all who knew her. She was predeceased by an infant son, Robert; a daughter, Marie Inman; three brothers, Fred, Jack and Bobby; and a great-grand-daughter, Summer Keene.
