CARIBOU – Lucie Pelletier, 92, beloved wife of the late Leo Pelletier, died at a Caribou healthcare facility Jan. 9, 2005. She was born at Robertville, N.B., Canada, Feb. 19, 1912, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Beaudreau) Peters. Lucie was a Caribou resident for many years, where she was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Active in her community, she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Catholic Golden Age, Lions Center Senior Citizens, the Caribou Widows support group, and the Caribou Senior Citizens. She is survived by two sons, Emile L. Pelletier and his wife, Bernice, of Washburn, Albert Pelletier of Caribou; one daughter, Darlene Pelletier Madore of Caribou; several grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Pelletier in 1982; and two sons, Philip Pelletier in 1979, Robert Pelletier in 1996; a granddaughter, Sharon Pelletier Brand in 1992; and by all of her brothers and sisters. Family and friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Wednesday, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou, with Fr. David Raymond officiating. Spring interment will be at the New Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou, Maine.
