GUERRETTE – Lucien Dionne, 84, died Feb. 8, 2006 at his residence after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. He was born in Guerrette Nov. 14, 1921, the son of Alphonse and Philomena (Ouellette) Dionne. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cecile (Fisher) Dionne; one son, Lucien Jr. of Bloomfield, Conn.; seven daughters, Rona Hart of Caribou, Viola M. Chambers of Copenhagen, N.Y., Reona Canney of West Hartford, Conn., Aurora Dionne of Smithberg, Md., Lucienne O’Connelle of Long Beach, Miss., Delores St. Amand of Indiana and Cora Green of Caribou; 30 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jane Raymond of Stockholm and Rose Rossignol of Caribou; one brother, Gerald Dionne of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday, at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sinclair, with the Rev. Phil Cyr, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in St. Euthrope Cemetery in Guerrette. For those who desire, donations may be made to Hospice of Aroostook. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
