SEARSPORT – Lucille (Andrews) Seamans Clark, 80, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Belfast. She was born April 25, 1927, in Searsport, the daughter of Perley and Helen (Bowen) Andrews of Searsport. Being a member of First Church, Belfast, since 1963, she served in various church offices and in the choir. Brooks Congregational Church was her local church, and she served there on committees and in the choir; a Girl Scout leader for 10 years and summer day camp director; director and former membership chairman for Belfast-Waldo County Humane Society; past matron and past district deputy at Primrose Chapter, OES; and Harvest Home Grange No. 52 member and former secretary. Previous to retirement, she was employed at WBME radio, Depositors Trust, later Key Bank and served as Waldo County treasurer. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, with the Revs. Arthur and Suzie Gowie of Brooks Congregational Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to Waldo County Hospice, P.O. Box 407, Belfast, ME 04915.
