VAN BUREN – Lucille Marquis, 83, died Aug. 28, 2005, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born July 12, 1922, in Van Buren, the daughter of Joseph and Albertine (Bouchard) Marquis. Lucille is survived by one sister, Sr. Solange Marquis of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada; several cousins including those close to her who cared for her, especially the last few years, Jackie and Doug Flanagan of Van Buren, and Rena Baron of Caribou. She will also be missed by special friends who also cared for her the last few years, Adrien and Leola Gagnon of Madawaska. Relatives and friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
