PENOBSCOT – Mabelle E. Donnell, 88, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at a Penobscot healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Berwick, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Merrill) Moore. Mabelle will be remembered for her sense of humor, her enjoyment of writing letters to her pen pals, going out to Ellsworth to go shopping and her love of Three Musketeers bars. She is survived by a friend, Sandra Richter of Stonington and her faithful caregivers at Penobscot Nursing Home. Mabelle was predeceased by her parents. Memorial services will be held in the spring, followed by interment in Berwick. Arrangements by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Stonington.
