MARS HILL – Madeline D. Jordan 81, wife of the late Silas Jordan, died Feb. 18, 2005, at a Mars Hill healthcare facility. She was born May 16, 1923, in Woodland, the daughter of Edward and Julia (Searles) Patterson. Madeline was a member of the Church of Jesus in Presque Isle and a member of the Presque Isle Senior Citizens. She had been employed for many years at Potato Service in Presque Isle. Surviving her are two sons and their wives; Carl and Carla Jordan of Bangor and Ronnie and Gloria Jordan of Kenduskeag; two daughters and their spouses; Betty Smith and Paul Wilson of Washburn and Delores and Clyde Brown of Presque Isle; a sister, Beatrice Wasson of Presque Isle, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Madeline was predeceased by brothers and sisters; Fred Patterson, Helen Little, Basil Patterson, Sterling Patterson, Donnie Patterson and Charlotte Patterson. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastors Harold and Rodney Fulton officiating. A spring interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
