DEXTER – Madeline P. Washburn, 57, died Sept. 14, 2004, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born in Dexter, Feb. 14, 1947, the daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth (Bragg) Hall. She worked for several years for Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter. She is survived by her mother of Dexter; her husband, Lloyd Washburn Sr. of Dexter; two children, Laurie and her husband, Randy Tompkins, of Brewer and Lloyd and his wife, Jamie Washburn Jr., of Ripley; two sisters, Ruth and her husband, Michael LaGrand, of California and Betty and her husband, Michael Parsons, of Vermont; a granddaughter, Jillian; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Roland E. Washburn. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, with Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. Burial will be in Chadbourne Cemetery in Harmony.
