EXETER – Manuill C. Hanson, 80, husband of Gail (Cossar) Hanson, died July 21, 2008, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Bradford, the son of Charles and Ida (Strout) Hanson. He worked as a selfemploy-ed truck driver in the logging industry. Manny liked John Deere tractors, but especially loved to eat out so he could meet people. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Exeter, are one sister, Victorine Higgins of Guilford; two half brothers, Al Bowley of Guilford and Richard Bowley of Sangerville; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 1 p.m. Thursday until time of services 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, with the Rev. Kirk Mellon, pastor of Corinth Baptist Church, officiating. After cremation, burial will be at Exeter Center Cemetery.
