PRESQUE ISLE – Margaret Ann Turner Briggs Larsson, 76, formerly of Ashlar Village, Wallingford, Conn. and Presque Isle, died Aug. 14, 2004 at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was born in Detroit, Maine, Feb. 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Colby and Mary Lees Turner. She had been a resident of Presque Isle for 71 years until moving to Wallingford. She was the proprietor of Briggs Antiques in Presque Isle for many years until her retirement, a member of the Mapleton United Methodist Church, a member of the church choir and a member of the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Allen W. and Anne E. Briggs of Watertown, Conn. and S. Gregory Briggs of North Haven, Conn.; her two grandsons, Shawn A. Briggs and Jason G. Briggs; her two great-grandsons, Taylor N. Briggs and Avery A. Briggs; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Sterling W. Briggs; her second husband, Louis P. Larsson; her sister, Laura Skillen; and her two brothers, Earl A. and George L. Turner. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004 in Wallingford, Conn. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton, with the Rev. Thomas Blackstone officiating.
