CORINNA – Margaret L. Gallison, 73, died April 18, 2004, at a Dexter healthcare facility. She was born Dec. 9, 1930, at Bath, the daughter of Jesse and Amy (Douglas) Sanders. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport, where she taught Awana with her dear friend, Judy Paige, who predeceased her Jan. 13, 2004. Margaret is survived by her children, Rebecca and husband, Bradford Snyder, of Ohio, Terry and wife, Karen Gallison, of Newport, and James Gallison of New York; seven grandchildren, Ronald and wife, Karen Snyder, Richard Snyder, Stephanie (Snyder) and husband, Byran Mahoney, all of Ohio, William and wife, Melissa Gallison, of Newport, Mark Gallison of Connecticut, Chadwick Gallison of California, and Nicholas Gallison of New York; seven great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Snyder, Marissa Snyder, James Mahoney, Cami Mahoney, Christopher Mahoney, all of Ohio, Zachary Gallison and Jonathan Gallison, both of Newport. She was predeceased by her husband, George “Sonny” Gallison, in August of 1987. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
