ST. ALBANS – Margaret M. Webber, 95, died July 5, 2006, at a Dexter healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 16, 1910, at Fort Fairfield, a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Rogers) Bubar. Margaret was the Boston Cane Holder for the town of St. Albans. She is survived by a son, Vernon “Roland” and wife, Joan Webber, of Miami, Fla.; two daughters, Tressa Hartford of Windsor, Conn. and Virginia Dorman of Exeter; a brother, Edward Bubar of Milo; two sisters, Ida Niles of Orono and Lunette Hughes of Hudson; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Webber in 1988; a son, John Benjamin Rockwell in 1959; and two sons-in-law, Leo Hartford and Roland Dorman. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 10, at the Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Rd., Corinna, with the Rev. Ronald Parker officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Village Cemetery, St. Albans.
