CHERRYFIELD – Marianne Bamford, 45, loving wife and mother died at her home in Cherryfield, May 23, 2004. She was born May 28, 1958, at Marlborough, Mass., the daughter of Norman and Joyce (Moore) Daris. She married her husband, George on May 28, 1974. She attended Sumner High School, and received her high school diploma from Ellsworth High School. Marianne worked as a private duty CNA for several years. She was loved by all that knew her and after spending all her time nurturing and taking care of everyone else, has had these last few months being well cared for by her family. In addition to her husband, George Bamford of Cherryfield, she is survived by her three sons, George Edward Bamford III of Cherryfield, Norman Edward Bamford and his wife, Veronika, of Steuben, and Nathaniel Dean Bamford of Cherryfield; her siblings, Albert Daris, Bobby Daris, Donna Cope and Mike Daris; five grandchildren, Alexis, Shalynne, Jacob, Joshua and Christina-Renee; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and her stepfather, Denton Church. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Milbridge. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the Steuben Union Church, with Pastor Dale Chasse officiating. Internment will be at the West Bay Cemetery, Gouldsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with the final expense in care of her sister-in-law, Kathy Kippen, at 223 Milbridge Road, Cherryfield, ME 04622.
