FRENCHVILLE – Marie Anna Cyr, 72, died June 12, 2007, at a Bangor medical center, after a brief illness. She was born July 7, 1934, in St. Francis, New Brunswick, the daughter of Adolph and Mattie (Bouchard) Pelletier. She was a member of the Daughters of St. Anne and Ma-dawaska Senior Citizens Club, and was a hospice volunteer. She was predeceased by her first husband, George Theriault; second husband, Ronaldo Cyr; one brother, Patrick Pelletier; two sisters, Jean-nette Caron and Gertrude Landry; and one stepson, Ronald A. Cyr. She is survived by one sister, Rita Pelletier of Edmundston, New Brunswick; two brothers, Thomas Pelletier of Clair, New Brunswick, and Emery of Quebec; several nieces and nephews; seven stepchildren, Gene and Deb Cyr of Washburn, Doreen and Dan Paradis of Frenchville, Linda and Jack Warner of St. George, Utah, Pauline and Bob Stormann of Old Town, Paul Cyr of Massachusetts, Gina King of Caribou, Terry Weeks of Colorado; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives my call 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 15, and 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery, Fort Kent.
