NORWAY, Maine – Marilyn Eaton Cossar Fitzherbert, 78, of South Paris, died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Exeter, the daughter of Orrin and Alice Avery Eaton. She came from a family of seven. She had worked as a certified nurse’s aide. She loved camping, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She married Percy Cossar. She later married Delbert L. Fitzherbert. She is survived by four children, Sandra J. Eldridge of Naples, Rhonda L. Cossar of Raymond, Gary L. Cossar of South Paris, and James O. Cossar and his wife, Darlene, of West Paris; a stepdaughter, Sharon (Fitzherbert) Hall and her husband, Fred, of Dresden; three brothers, Paul, Millard and Maynard Eaton, all of Exeter; seven grandchildren, Tracey L. Tibbets, Jaime E. Eldridge, Kirsten R. Cossar, Brett J. Cossar, Kayla R. Cossar, Casey L. Cossar and Jonathan Hall; four great-grandchildren, Zachary M. Rich, Nicholas C. Ball, Gabrielle N. Ball and Braden A. Penney; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Delbert Fitzherbert; two sisters, Dorothy Reed and Claudine Richard; and a brother, Karl Eaton. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 45 Main St., South Paris.
