ELIOT – Marion A. (Rancourt) (Thompson) Hansen died Monday, May 1, 2006, in Bangor. Happy as she was known as, was a dearly loved mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Hansen was a retiree of Simplex Wire and Cable Co. and also worked for Hudson’s Clothing. She was a golfer for many years and loved the sport. She also loved to paint in later years. Volunteer work in Eliot, York and Portsmouth area was something she loved to do. She leaves a daughter, Donna M. Bahrdt and her husband, Horst; a son, Ralph Thompson and his wife, Anna; three grandsons, Joseph A. Buono, Stephen P. Kelly and Scott A. Kelly and his wife, Darlene; two granddaughters, Leanne Shain and her husband, Mike and Melanie Crowe and her husband, Dan; one stepgranddaughter, Jacqueline Duester and her husband, Peter; five great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; one godchild, Sonja Desjardin; five brothers, John, Harry, Leon, Kenneth and Reginald Rancourt; two sisters, Marguerite Arrants and Geraldine Gavard. The memorial service for Mrs. Hansen will take place 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York. Burial will be in First Parish Cemetery, York.
