CALAIS – Martha Ann (Baldwin) (Sattig) (Williams) Sigovitch, 92, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at a Calais nursing home. Martha was born April 28, 1913, in New Haven, Conn., daughter of late Charles and Myra (Baldwin) Sattig. She resided in Woodbridge, Conn. for 64 years. Martha then moved to Glendale, Ariz. before returning to Connecticut in the mid 1980’s. For the last six years, she resided at Washington Place in Calais. Martha had a love for poetry, especially the poem “Crossing Of The Bar.” She leaves three daughters, Martha Ann Lorton of Waterbury, Conn., Denise Gustafson of Forestville, Conn., and Carla Williams of Meriden, Conn.; four sons, Ronald Williams and wife, Jeanette, of Waite, Edward Williams and wife, Carol, of Irvine, Calif., Russell Williams and wife, Ruth, of Brandenberg, Ky., and Charles Williams and wife, Karen, of Branford, Conn.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grand-children; a nephew, Peter Sattig of Arizona; and her life long best friend, Ester Brown of Milford, Conn.
