MILBRIDGE – Mary Ann Warren, 88, wife of the late Roland H. “Bud” Warren, died Oct. 28, 2007, at her home after a period of declining health. She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in New Bedford, Mass., the daughter of William and Margaret (Mackenzie) Sykes. Ann owned and operated Milbridge House, a gift and floral shop, in Milbridge, for several years. She is survived by three sisters, Alice Killion and her husband, Frank, of Holden, Mass., Helen Watling and her husband, Wes, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ruth Laderman and her husband, Arvid, of Spencer, Mass.; one brother, William Sykes of Worcester, Mass.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one sister, Margaret McGourty; and by one brother, Donald Sykes. A graveside memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge, in May at a time to be announced in the spring by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
