GRAND ISLE – Yvette Chasse, 87, died Oct. 28, 2007, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born Jan. 5, 1920, in St. David, the daughter of William and Lizianne (Lagasse) Michaud. She is survived by six daughters, Viola Beaulieu and her companion, Andr? Levesque, Marie M. Beaulieu and her husband, James, Verna Beaulieu and her husband, Robert, Rachel Cyr and her husband, Herman, all of Grand Isle, Patricia Dufour of Connecticut, and Rina Pelletier and her husband, Gerry, of St. David; five brothers, Lucien Michaud of Connecticut, Gerard Michaud of Scarborough, Albert Michaud of St. David, Alcide Michaud of St. Agatha and Lionel Michaud of Frenchville; two sisters, Antoinette Beaulieu of Connecticut, and Cecile Michaud of Madawaska; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alcide Chasse; one son, Renald Chasse; one daughter, Therese Chasse; and two infants. Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Gerard Cemetery.
