BANGOR – Mary E. “Butch” McHugh, 63, died unexpectedly Nov. 23, 2007, with her family at her side at an Augusta hospital. She was born May 24, 1944, in Bangor, the daughter of Leo and Kathleen (Thibodeau) McHugh. Butch was a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wayne Millett of Old Orchard Beach; her daughter, Sharon Lynne and her husband, David Lunt, of Freeport; several brothers and sisters, five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Private interment will be held for the family at a later date.
