BREWER – Mary H. Black, 79, wife of the late Leroy F. Black, died Oct. 5, 2004, at her home in Brewer. She was born May 1, 1925, in Brewer, the daughter of Tihon and Ahafia (Sparkovsky) Fedorchuk. Mary is survived by her two children, David R. Black and his wife, Jane, of Holden and Gregory A. Black of Brewer; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Anthony Black of Holden; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Brimigion of Stonington; and one sister-in-law, Barbara Ferguson of Milford, Mass. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Alex J. Brewer of Bangor. Mary will be remembered by her special friends, Terry and Sallie Merancie of Brewer and Mike and Sheila Thibodeau of Orrington. Her family wishes to thank her caregivers, Gail, Linda, Gabby and Myndie, for their dedicated care and service. At her request, services will be private and burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. Arrangements by Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer.
