EDDINGTON – Mary L. (Clark) Drew, 83, wife of the late Harold S. Drew, died Jan. 21, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born July 10, 1922, in Machias, the daughter of Nelson and Lena (Farnsworth) Clark. Mary was a member of the Brewer Garden Club and attended the North Brewer-Eddington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. Surviving are three children, Judith Griffin and her companion, Robert Young, of South Weymouth, Mass., Samuel Drew and his wife, Kathy, of Clifton and Christine Nisbett of Bucksport; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Thatcher Clark of New Hampshire; and one sister, Nellie Davis of Milbridge; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 2005; a daughter, Joanne Young; three brothers, John, Herbert and Samuel Clark; and two sisters, Myra Hooper and Una Hanscom. A graveside memorial service for both Mary and Harold Drew with military honors will be held at Eddy Cemetery, Route 178, Eddington, in the spring at a time to be announced.
