MILBRIDGE – Mary (Pinkham) Mitchell, 90, of Wunnegin Circle, and formerly of Omaha Boulevard, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at Cherry Hill Manor, in Johnson. She was the wife of the late Lewis J. Mitchell. She was born in Steuben, a daughter of the late Lester H. and Eva A. (Reynolds) Pinkham. She had lived in Warwick, R.I. since the late 1930s. She was a lifelong summer resident of Milbridge. Mrs. Mitchell had been a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church for 50 years, and the Christ Church Evangelical Covenant, in East Greenwich, for the past 10 years. She enjoyed socializing, traveling, cooking, snowshoeing, sailing and spending time at her summer residence. She leaves two sons, Charles E. Mitchell of Naples, Fla., and George L. Mitchell of Warwick, R.I.; a sister, Eleanor Pinkham-Crosby; and a cousin, Susie Watson, both of Steuben; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Elizabeth Burnham-Betham and Gertrude Pinkham. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at the Steuben Union Church, Steuben. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Steuben Union Church, 86 Rogers Point Road, Steuben, ME 04680 will be appreciated.
