CARIBOU – Mary Rossignol, 56, died Dec. 25, 2006, in Bangor, after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 25, 1949, in Osaka, Japan, the daughter of Preston and Fumiko “Kitty” (Narimatsu) Rossignol. Mary was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as a clerk at the Caribou Court House for 11 years and was also employed at Burrell’s for a number of years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lister-Knowlton Post No. 9389 VFW. Surviving, in addition to her mother “Kitty” of Caribou, are one son, Jody Dudley of Anniston, Ala.; and two brothers, Michael Rossignol of Herman and Mark Rossignol of Fayetteville, N.C. Mary was predeceased by her father, Preston Feb. 12, 1996. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of services, which will be held noon Friday, Dec. 29, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, from the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Herbert Wilcox, officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
