BANGOR – Matthew Robert Clermont, 39, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1965, in Brighton, Mass., the son of Maurice and Marie V. (Regan) Clermont of Dracut, Mass. Matt attended schools in Lunenburg, Mass. and graduated from Lunenburg High School. He was a sports enthusiast, an avid Red Sox fan who was proud to finally witness their World Series Championship. In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his dear friend, companion and fianc?e, Lynette Sifferlen of Bangor; brother, Christopher Clermont and his wife, Mary (List), of Franklin, Mass.; two nephews, Corey and Ryan; niece, Nicole; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special little buddy, Ryan. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alfred and Rosalie Clermont and Paul and Mary Regan. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in Dracut, Mass., at St. Francis Church.
