BUCKSPORT – Maude A. Bulduc, 78, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, while on vacation at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Clyde, N.C. She was born April 5, 1930, the daughter of Lewis and Josephine (Hanscom) DeLaite. Maude’s greatest love was to care for others. She was a member of Felicity Lodge No. 195 Order of the Eastern Star and Verona Grange No. 206. Maude is survived by her two children; Gail (Bulduc) Kimble and her husband, James, of Clyde, N.C., and Gordon Bulduc and his wife, Anne, of Las Vegas; as well as three grandsons and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Cleo Cottrell and her husband, Bob, of Verona and Dorothy York and her husband, Howard, of Penobscot; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Bulduc Jr. in 1994; four sisters, Louise Leonard, Christine Walton, Daphene Chamber and Genevieve Fritch. At Maude’s request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Orland, with Robert Cottrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maude’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, New England Region, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 98R, Portland, ME 04101. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
