PRINCETON – Mavis L. Moholland, 81, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at a Calais Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Baileyville, the daughter of Fred W. and Bernice (Morse) McPhail. Mavis was a homemaker, a member of the Princeton Women’s Club, Princeton Library Club, and the Princeton Sunshine Circle. She was also a member of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Princeton. Mavis is predeceased by her husband, Fred W. Moholland; daughter, Lillian Black; granddaughter, April Sue Rousell. She is survived by two sons, William Moholland and his wife, Susan, of Princeton, John Moholland and his wife, Jeannie, of Chester; one sister, Audria McCurdy of Ashford, Conn.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two nephews, one niece, many other friends and family. Family and friends may visit 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, with Pastor Bob Hinton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
