WASHBURN – Michael Keith Cochran, 57, died July 26, 2005, at his Washburn residence. He was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Caribou. Michael was employed as an electrician for many years and especially enjoyed his employment for Jeffrey and Owen Smith Farms in Mapleton. He married Christie (Smart) Cochran Dec. 22, 1966. Surviving in addition to his wife of Washburn are his daughter and son-in-law, Anissa and David Levesque of Caribou; and his special one and only granddaughter, Kassy; one sister, Donna Worster and her husband, Richard, of Caribou. Michael is also survived by his special stepfamily, Linnea and Mike Miller, Michael Levesque and Alexa Salch. Also his great-stepgrandchildren, Lexie, Michaela, Chelsea, Colby and Alex. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Gary Cochran. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Private family services and interment at the Riverside Cemetery will be held at a later date. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mr. Cochran may do so through an educational fund for his special granddaughter Kassy. Envelopes are available through the funeral home.
