ORRINGTON – Michael Lister Gordon, passed away Jan. 14, 2008. Michael was born June 30, 1958, the son of Elizabeth Joyce Lister and Arthur Edward Gordon. Michael worked for many years in maintenance. He was a trained welder and a self-taught auto mechanic. He always had a ’66 Chevelle on the road. He was very intelligent, kind and generous. He always had advice for anyone who asked. He always spoke the truth. He had unconditional love for his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sisters, Susan Larochelle and Paul of Auburn, their children, Erin, Ethan and Elizabeth; Nancy Gordon and Carl Barber of Franklin, their son, James and his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Andrew, of Whitman, Mass., Kate Gordon and Rob Nagel of Lamoine, their son, Samuel and his wife, Annie, of Portland, Tara Gordon of Orrington and Brian Sholler of Bangor, and their son, Nathan, and Mary Gordon; and a brother, Johnathan Gordon. He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth, in 1996; a sister, Jennifer, in 1964; and nephew, Benjamin Sholler, in 1990. A private memorial will be held June 30 by his family.
