MICHAEL P. COUGH LYMAN – Michael P. Cough 70, husband of Gertrude, died unexpectedly on May 24, 2004, at his home. Michael is the son of Reginald and Cora Cough of Bar Harbor. He was born June 6, 1933, in Houlton. He was a graduate of Winslow High School and attended Boston University. Michael served in the United States Navy and retired from the Defense Logistics Agency. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of the Old Town Elks Lodge and the American Legion in Naples. Michael was a parishioner of St. Martha’s Catholic Community Church in Kennebunk. In addition to his loving wife, Gertrude, he is survived by three sons, Patrick of Bucksport, James of Etna, and Dennis of Greenbush; two step-daughters, Judy and Karen of Plaistow, N.H.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Michael was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Edward. A memorial Mass will be said 11:00 a.m., June 1, 2004, at St. Martha’s Catholic Community Church, Kennebunk.
